I am a passionate and prolific astro-photographer, having always been interested in the stars and the night sky. I specialize in taking long exposure images of deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebula, and star clusters The process includes imaging through telescopes with monochromatic CCD cameras specially designed for astronomy. Images are taken through filters that capture red, green and blue light as well as that from specific elements such as hydrogen, oxygen and sulphur.

The majority of photos are taken from my home in the mountains near Boulder, Colorado. The total exposure time varies from 10 hours up to 30 hours or more depending on the subject and filters used.

I then have the images printed on aluminum which provides a luminosity not possible with photographic paper. Thye are available in a variety of sizes and come with a sturdy fixture for hanging on the back. If you have any questions about an object, the printed images or a special request, please feel free to contact me.
